What exactly is Home Health Care?
Home Health Care is a collection of service disciplines for individuals to receive both long-term and short-term skilled home health care and/or personal home health care in the comfort of their home.
Is there a difference between “skilled home health care” and “personal health home care?”

This is one of the most basic questions that confuses most of potential home health patients. Skilled Home Health Care requires the individual to be under the care of a physician. The physician needs to prescribe orders for service disciplines needed for an individual’s care. For Starworld Home Health, Skilled Home Health skilled disciplines are Skilled Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Medical Social Worker and Certified Home Health Aide. Conceptually, to some extent, skilled home health care can be looked as an extension of some care provided at establishments like hospitals or skilled nursing facilities. All skilled home health care are provided by fully trained and California licensed medical professionals.

Personal Home Health Care Services are supportive services that do not require medical treatments and/or therapies. Some examples of Personal Home Health Care Services are meal preparation, grooming, grocery shopping, and light housekeeping.
