Conceptually, to some extent, skilled home health care can be looked as an extension of some care provided at establishments like hospitals or skilled nursing facilities. All skilled home health care are provided by fully trained and California licensed medical professionals.
Personal Home Health Care Services are supportive services that do not require medical treatments and/or therapies. Some examples of Personal Home Health Care Services are meal preparation, grooming, grocery shopping, and light housekeeping.
SKILLED HOME HEALTH CARE: Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, Private Insurance and Private Payors all typically cover Skilled Home Health Care. Skilled Home Health Care must be ordered by a physician.
PERSONAL HOME HEALTH CARE: Typically, insurances that cover Personal Home Health Care are Long Term Care Insurance and Workers Compensation. Starworld Home Health also accepts out of pocket pay for these services.
